Annual Thanksgiving Meal Turkey Giveaway
The Charitable Fund held its seventh annual Turkey Drive in 2025 to celebrate Thanksgiving and provide assistance to local families in need. Through the generosity of our community, the men and women of the Richmond County Marshal’s Office hand-delivered 48 full Thanksgiving dinners to families throughout the Augusta-Richmond County area as part of our hunger assistance efforts.
In partnership with the Richmond County School System, Augusta Partnership for Children, and Tuttle-Newton Home, we identified families who could benefit from assistance during the holiday season.
The Psi Omega Foundation also played an important role in making the Turkey Drive a success. In addition to contributing financial donations toward the Thanksgiving meals, members volunteered their time to help deliver meals to families in our community. Their generosity and willingness to serve alongside us helped make a meaningful difference for the families we were able to assist.
Together, our community partners, donors, volunteers, and the men and women of the Marshal’s Office helped bring the spirit of Thanksgiving to families across Augusta-Richmond County.
